Annual XRA AR/VR Policy Conference to Be Held September 14

The XR Association (XRA), in conjunction with the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), will host the third annual AR/VR Policy Conference on September 14, in Washington, D.C. This free, one-day event will feature expert panel discussions and technology demonstrations from XRA member companies.

XRA ARVR Policy Conference 2023Senator Todd Young (R-IN) and Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-DE) will give keynote remarks at the event. As esteemed policymakers and technological innovation advocates, Senator Young and Representative Blunt Rochester have demonstrated a keen interest in the transformative potential of extended reality (XR) technologies.

One of the highlights of the conference, according to the XRA, will be the expert panel discussions, with a wide range of speakers including Jennifer Achus of the Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy, U.S. Department of State; Jennifer Huddleston of the Cato Institute; Muhsinah Morris of Morehouse College; Rob Sherman of Meta;  Adam Thierer of the R Street Institute; and more.

The conference will also feature technology demonstrations from XRA member companies, including Cleanbox Technology, Google, Meta, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Transfr.
