ROE Visual showed off its Obsidian Next-Gen LED for virtual production volumes at NAB Show 2024 in Las Vegas.

Its absolute non-reflective nature, deep black mask, and remarkable adaptability make Obsidian ideal for the semi-permanent environments of film studios. With what ROE Visual calls an “unbeatable” contrast ratio, brightness, rich grayscales, and surface waterproofing, Obsidian  is designed to meet the highest standards of even the most discerning directors of photography (DOPs). Constructed on a sturdy frame, the LED panels of Obsidian allow for the removal of LED modules at any point, facilitating the creation of access holes for additional equipment, such as lighting fixtures or props.
