AWE 2024 Products to See

Augmented World Expo (AWE) 2024 is rapidly approaching and promises to unveil bleeding-edge technology that redefines human interaction with the world.

From groundbreaking advancements in augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) to novel applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and wearable tech, AWE 2024 is a one-stop-shop for the most forward-thinking inventions in tech today. From consumer gadgets to innovative products for the corporate, healthcare, education, and industrial markets—just to name a few—this year’s show has it all. Here are some of the products we don’t think you should miss at AWE 2024…

BadVR SeeSignal (Booth 607)

SeeSignal Product Image BadVRSeeSignal is an augmented reality (AR) software application that uses interactive holograms to visualize radio-frequency (RF) spectrum data, spatially—it’s x-ray vision for your networks! SeeSignal’s patented technology empowers users of all kinds with the ability to see and understand the RF spectrum. Users can see everything from Wi-Fi, cellular/5G, Bluetooth, and more—all in real-time and in real-space, allowing everyone to quite literally step inside their networks. The SeeSignal app has a wide variety of uses from planning, optimizing, and deploying 5G networks to conducting remote Wi-Fi site-surveys to performing bug sweeps in controlled environments. SeeSignal has both enterprise and defense applications and a limited demo of the app can be accessed from Meta’s App Lap. In addition to the RF spectrum, SeeSignal can also spatialize other environmental data, such as natural gas leaks or radiological contamination. If a sensor can sense it, with SeeSignal you can see it!

Green Forest XR Yodelz (Booth S8)

Yodelz Green Forest XRGreen Forest XR creates engaging mixed reality experiences for curious minds and neurodivergent learners that blend fun, education, and technology. Yodelz is a series of immersive storytelling experiences designed for the young at heart to foster divergent thinking. Yodelz harnesses immersive technologies to transport users to new worlds, enhancing their ability to look at things from a different perspective and think spatially.

Sony Spatial Reality Display and mocopi (Booths 708, 710, and 712)

Sony SRD and mocopiSony’s Spatial Reality Displays—available in 27- and 15.6-in. models—provide highly realistic, three-dimensional content without the need for special glasses or VR headsets. Using the Unity or Unreal Engine SDK, creators can develop and bring to life VR, AR, and other types of content. mocopi is the company’s portable, wireless motion capture system for VR and 3D content creation. It can track whole-body motion and create virtual avatars using six lightweight sensors with a compatible smartphone. The Spatial Reality Displays and mocopi can be used in combination to empower users to create 3D virtual avatars and view them in real-time, without glasses.

STYLY (Booth 634)

STYLY LogoSTYLY is a content creation and distribution platform for urban and living spaces, allowing users to enjoy all kinds of XR content. It features a global community of over 100,000 creators, with more than 200,000 digital contents distributed. Various XR contents such as art, music, and fashion posted by creators and businesses around the world can be enjoyed alone or shared with friends.

TARSIOPTICS Compact Human Field of View XR Optics (Booth S31)

TARSIOPTICS Compact Human Field of View XR OpticsTarsiOptics will unveil what is claims is the first compact, patented XR optics with a human field of view at AWE 2024. Its Fresnel lenses provides an impressive field of view > 200° in a lens under 2-in. and less than 20mm thick. These advancements transform VR/AR experiences, offering natural, expansive vision in lightweight designs. Its technology extends to sectors like aerospace, automotive, and scientific visualization, enhancing immersive experiences and precision imaging.

TarsiOptics’ Fresnel lens technology stems from over 20 years of intensive optical R&D. The company has achieved a breakthrough in visual perception, with oitsur optics providing a natural human field of view. This enhancement not only eases user adoption, but also delivers twice as much environmental information, reducing the need for constant head movement and enhancing user comfort and reaction speed.

Treedis Connected Workers Solution (Booth 450)

Treedis Connected Workers SolutionTreedis says it revolutionizes industrial operations with its Connected Workers solution, leveraging digital twin technology alongside AR, VR, and IoT to create precise digital replicas of physical environments. These replicas serve as dynamic simulations, empowering immersive training and maintenance through AR and VR while enabling real-time monitoring and control via IoT. Imagine workers equipped with smart devices, all linked to a central hub for instant data and support, streamlining operations, boosting productivity, enhancing safety, and fostering collaboration.

VoxelSensors PERCEPT (Booth 927)

VoxelSensors SPAESAt AWE USA 2024, VoxelSensors will introduce PERCEPT, the latest innovation based on VoxelSensors’ Single Photon Active Event Sensor (SPAES) technology. PERCEPT combines low-power, low-latency gaze-tracking and spatial awareness for wearables, enhancing devices with empathic abilities to understand the user’s perspective and intent. These abilities enable experiences that extend the user’s senses. PERCEPT revolutionizes wearables and consumer electronics, unlocking new levels of immersive experiences and AI assistants.

Zappar ZapBox (Booth 217)

Zappar ZapboxZapbox transforms iPhones into a mixed reality headset. At $89, Zapbox boasts a range of features previously only seen on higher-end headsets—including high-quality, full-color pass-through similar to Quest 3, and two fully-tracked Bluetooth controllers that enable users to physically interact with digital content. Zapbox has a unique open-peripheral headset design that is light and comfortable to use and allows for maintaining greater awareness of the real-world environment than enclosed headsets.
