7thSense Introduces New R-Series 8 Media Server for ISE 2024

7thSense pixel processor and show control technologies, has announced the release of its newest media server product, R-Series 8. R-Series 8 is designed to be a fully flexible mid-range 3U media server, primed to cater to the needs of generative projects and mid-range media-based attractions. R-Series 8 will be on display on the 7thSense stand (#5G110) at ISE 2024, Barcelona, from 30th January to 2nd February.

As the second release in the R-Series from 7thSense, the R-Series 8 hardware promises the flexibility and reliability of 7thSense’s multi-award-winning R-Series 10 hardware, which powers the world-famous Sphere Las Vegas and many other high-profile attractions globally.

We are thrilled to now have R-Series 8 available as part of the line – at a performance specification and price range that makes it ideal for mid-size projects.”

In addition to media playback applications, R-Series 8 can run generative engines like Unreal Engine and Unity. The hardware also supports ST 2110 and NDI streaming network video, Delta Media Server, Notch and TouchDesigner applications.
