Sightful has launched Spacetop G1, an augmented reality (AR) laptop for work; the product is now available for pre-order.

Spacetop G1 combines the familiarity of a traditional laptop with the power of spatial computing. Its slim design is matched with a huge 100” virtual display that’s private and provides a nearly infinite workspace. Instead of stacking windows, apps and documents on top of each other, now you can lay them out where they can be most useful.

Spacetop G1 also comes with stylish and lightweight AR glasses designed for all-day comfort; the glasses dim automatically in bright environments to enhance focus and legibility of type.

Under the hood, Spacetop G1 features 8 hours of battery life, a new 70% faster Qualcomm chip, and a 90 Hz refresh rate for glitch-free graphics performance.

According to Sightful, Spacetop G1 can also leverage artificial intelligence (AI) in ways “no other device can,” with added onboard AI functionality, workspace for AI tools, and physical context awareness.

Sightful’s Spacetop G1 will begin shipping this October for $1,900. Interested parties can reserve a unit for $100 here. Those who by June 6, 2024, will receive $200 off the purchase price.
