With Onirix Clip, iOS users can enjoy immersive Web AR experiences without the limitations of current browser capabilities. The default iOS browser, Safari, does not support the WebXR API, which has long restricted iOS users from accessing robust AR capabilities available to Android users through browsers like Chrome. Onirix Clip addresses this gap by enabling access to ARKit from web experiences, providing immediate and accurate AR interactions similar to native apps.

Onirix Clip operates from a QR code or a URL opened in Safari, launching instantly to offer users an enhanced AR experience with precise tracking. Unlike traditional methods that require users to download additional browsers, Onirix Clip simplifies the process, ensuring a smooth and efficient AR experience directly from the web.

Onirix Clip retains all the advantages of web-based development, such as instant access, ease of code modification, and the ability to design experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It also provides access to iOS sensors and OS libraries (ARKit), delivering what the company calls the “highest possible tracking robustness.” Developers can customize the Onirix Clip card to enhance branding and user interaction, depending on their subscription plan.
