Epson demonstrated its EB-PU2220B Large Venue 3LCD Laser Projector at InfoComm 2022.

As what Epson claims is the “world’s smallest and lightest 20,000-lumen projector”, the EB-PU2220B 3LCD Laser Projector is 60% smaller and 50% lighter than its predecessor. The company says EB-PU2220B is packed with new pro-level features designed to streamline setup and ease installation. The EB-PU2220B offers convenient features ideal for live events, including 3G-SDI input and output to accommodate daisy-chaining and long cable runs along with a mechanical shutter to help protect the projectors during laser light shows. With Epson’s attachable PixAlign camera, integrators have access to powerful installation tools such as tiling assist for edge blends, color calibration, screen matching, and the Simple Stacking function to stack two projectors using just the remote.

Equipped with NFC functionality and the Epson Projector Configuration Tool (EPCT) Android and iOS mobile app to streamline installations, the projector features a hermetically sealed optical engine for high dust resistance and a filter-less cabinet for low-maintenance operation. Plus, users can control multiple projectors in a single space with Epson Projector Professional Tool (EPPT) and manage installed inventory with Epson Projector Management.

Compatible with a range of Epson lenses, including a zero offset .35 ultra short-throw lens, the EB-PU2220B delivers a 20,000 lumens with more versatility than ever before.
