Body of Mine, an award-winning full body experience that invites users to inhabit the body of another gender and discover stories of transgender individuals, is now available for Meta Quest Pro, 3, and 2.

“Body of Mine began over two years ago in my bedroom, from a personal longing for immersive technologies to provide a safe space for queer individuals, when a safe space in the real world can sometimes feel hard to find,” said Body of Mine creator Cameron Kostopoulos. “The road since then has been beyond what I could have imagined for my first VR experience. From winning multiple awards including the Producers Guild Innovation Award, the SXSW Special Jury Award, a BAFTA Student Award, and more, to traveling the world and igniting conversations around gender dysphoria, to finally adapting for a standalone headset and premiering on the official store—I feel so grateful to finally be releasing Body of Mine to the world.”

Combining body, face, and eye tracking with personal interviews of transgender individuals, the experimental storytelling experience allows users to hear, discover, and experience stories of gender dysphoria and euphoria; it is the first LGBTQ+ VR experience to debut on the Meta Quest Store.
