Now in its 15th year, Augmented World Expo (AWE) is where emerging tech professionals go to learn, connect, and grow their business in the extended reality (XR) ecosystem. This year’s event will be held June 18-20 in Long Beach, CA.

Ahead of the show, the LAVNCH [CODE] team sat down with AWE exhibitors to see what they expect to see trending on the show floor and why emerging tech pros should visit their booths.

Executive interview with Elaine McAnally, co-founder and CEO, Green Forest XR.

LAVNCH [CODE]: Why are you exhibiting at AWE 2024?

ELAINE MCANALLY: As a start-up exhibitor, we are showcasing our first immersive story—Mars Rovin! We are a start-up and recently launched immersive stories that teach you something in an entertaining way. Our narratives and fundamentals blend the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds and look to offer a different way of learning for neurodiverse individuals. Also, we are excited and looking forward to meeting others, receiving feedback, and making many great connections!

LAVNCH [CODE]: What is one trend you expect to see at the show and why?

EM: In general, I expect to see an overarching trend of blending the physical environment with digital. We’ll discover how augmented reality has many use cases and how we can use technology to solve problems in both the B2B and B2C markets.

LAVNCH [CODE]:Why should attendees visit your booth at the show?

EM: We’d love for them to experience our first of many immersive stories, Mars Rovin’. Many young learners have tested it to do what it is intended and not intended to do. We’d also love to connect and learn what others are doing and discuss potential collaborations and partnerships!

LAVNCH [CODE]: Anything else you’d like to add?

EM: We are on a mission to empower neurodiverse minds with a platform for educational storytelling. We would love to meet and get connected to people who are passionate in this area as we continue to refine and develop our strategy with neurodiverse learners.
