The XR Association (XRA) had added several new members including Magic Leap, VoxelSensors, XR Village, and Kapeer. Daniel Diez, chief transformation officer at Magic Leap, will represent the company on XRA’s Board of Directors, which provides strategic guidance and support for XRA’s ongoing initiatives.

“As the [extended reality] XR industry continues to expand and adoption of these technologies accelerates, the XRA will continue to play an essential role in developing best practices, driving consensus around key issues, and spearheading the XR industry’s agenda across the broader tech landscape,” said Diez.” By joining the XRA, we intend to meaningfully contribute to these initiatives. As a board member, I am excited to help drive the industry forward and guide key aspects of its growth.”

New member VoxelSensors, a Brussels-based company, also reflects the organization’s global reach and expansion as it continues to engage in how virtual worlds are built and regulated in the EU. Other new members XR Village promotes privacy and security in XR, and Kapeer is a learning, design, and technology company.
