Brainstorm is set to showcase its latest advancements at IBC 2024 in Amsterdam this September. According to the company, attendees can look forward to “exciting demonstrations” for virtual production, real-time 3D graphics, newsroom workflows, and immersive presentations on Stand 7.B47 in Hall 7.

Brainstorm Suite6At IBC 2024, Brainstorm will publicly debut the newest features of Suite 6.1, which include the latest versions of InfinitySet, Aston, and eStudio. The demonstration will feature a live elections program, utilizing InfinitySet with Unreal Engine 5.4. Attendees will witness features like multiple scene transitions, talent tele-transport, and augmented reality (AR) graphics. They can also see a transparent touchscreen, enabling in-context 3D graphics and providing presenters with enhanced control, making complex shows more interactive and talent-friendly.

The primary demonstration, in collaboration with XD Motion, will highlight the capabilities of InfinitySet’s new Dual-GPU feature. This allows the entire demonstration to be managed from a single workstation, integrating set extension, color correction, camera inputs, AR graphics, and interactive elements. This innovation is designed for production environments with space or personnel constraints. Key features include real-time extra-render, seamless set extension with color-matching 3D LUTs, in-context AR motion graphics, and immersive talent tele-transportation.

Designers will be able to preview Aston’s advanced tools for creating data-driven, in-context AR graphics. These can be displayed within immersive virtual environments, seamlessly interacting with scenes and talent. The demo will illustrate how multi-channel graphics and collaborative workflows can be effortlessly integrated into any broadcast.

For corporate and educational sectors, Brainstorm will present the latest from the Edison Ecosystem. Highlights include EdisonGO, a custom-built capture environment utilizing iPad for video and tracking, and Edison OnDemand, which enables immersive presentations via web browser. On top of that, Brainstorm completes the Edison Ecosystem introducing Edison OnCloud, a subscription-based Edison in the cloud.

“We’re excited to exhibit at IBC and demonstrate the amazing possibilities our product range provides content creators of any kind and size to produce the best possible virtual content. Now that virtual production is increasingly common in broadcast and film, Brainstorm can help its users with our decades-long experience, and expand it to the Corporate and Education markets,” said Ricardo Montesa, Brainstorm’s CEO and founder.
