Welcome to LAVNCH WEEK!

Thank you for taking part in the first-ever LAVNCH WEEK! We are grateful to everyone who attended our event and made it a success. Read more about the week below, or click on each day’s color-coded button to rewatch the LAVNCH WEEK 1.0 content.

What Is LAVNCH WEEK?

THE rAVe Agency, rAVe [PUBS] and Zoom partnered to bring you a unique virtual event focused exclusively on AV, UCC and digital signage education, aimed at both integrators and end users alike. LAVNCH WEEK 1.0 took place April 27-May 1, 2020, and it was like having a webinar, a new product launch event and a conference all in one. Each day during the week of April 27 focused on a different topic or vertical market. And, best of all, the entire event — every keynote and educational session, every product feature, every panel discussion — earned you AVIXA CTS RUs.

Each LAVNCH WEEK day opened one by one as we progressed through week. It all started April 27, 2020, and concluded on May 1, 2020.

  • Do you design, sell, install, specify or use commercial (pro) AV gear? If you said yes, you should sign up for ProAV Day, created in partnership with AVIXA. • The House of Worship (HOW) market is thriving and, with a likely impending recession, it will only grow. In fact, HOW is the only segment of AV that grew both in 2008 and 2009 during the last recession. Many churches aren’t ready for the virtual worship market (but want to be) and will need to upgrade both their infrastructure and their AV gear. HOW Day will appeal to both integrators and the plethora of volunteers who run church AV systems. Our keynote speaker is digital sales and marketing consultant Anthony Coppedge, and his session will be followed by THE guy who, literally, wrote the book on church streaming — Chief Streaming Officer Paul Richards.

Designed exclusively for higher-ed, corporate and enterprise AV specifiers and buyers in partnership with HETMA (Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance), End User Day will be keynoted by HETMA Chairman Joe Way, Ph.D., of the University of Southern California. End User Day will focus exclusively on issues that users of AV, UCC and digital-signage systems face and discuss how to overcome them. It’ll cover what new AV gear is likely to appeal to them and what technology trends and shifts they need to be aware of.
