XRA Welcomes Four New Member Companies
The XR Association (XRA) has welcomed several new members, including MagicGate, Bytes and Bits, Spatial Dynamics, and returning member Samsung Electronics.
The newest companies demonstrate the breadth of diversity in immersive technology from education and healthcare solutions to software development and manufacturing, according to the association.
“We are excited to welcome four new members to XRA and look forward to working together to advance XR technology and educate policymakers on the transformative nature of immersive tech,” said Elizabeth Hyman, CEO at XRA. “These diverse new XRA members highlight the continued interest in and breadth of applications for immersive technology. Together, we are helping to shape the future of computing.”
“Joining the XR Association provides Samsung with an opportunity to join the conversations that are shaping the future of the XR industry,” added Mark Lippert, executive vice president of North American public affairs for Samsung Electronics North America. “As the industry continues to expand and adoption of these technologies accelerates, the work of XRA to develop best practices, drive consensus around key issues, and spearhead the XR industry’s agenda across the broader tech landscape, becomes increasingly important.”
