Where to Eat at InfoComm 2022

Let’s face it—nobody wants to eat convention center food when Vegas is a true culinary delight. Ahead of InfoComm 2022, we asked #AVFoodies for their favorite restaurants recommendations in Las Vegas—here’s what they had to say…

Burger Bar

Submitted by: Cory Schaeffer, Director, Alliances and Ecosystem, QSC
Why InfoComm 2022 Attendees Should Check It Out: The Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay has been around a while, having been one of the first upscale burger restaurants in Las Vegas—and it continues to serve delicious burgers, fries, and shakes. Renown Chef Hubert Keller is the mind behind Burger Bar. You’ll find plenty of gourmet touches to these quality hamburgers. Patties made from beef, buffalo, and turkey are topped off with things like tapenade, roasted pineapple, or fried egg

Why InfoComm 2022 Attendees Should Check It Out: Spanish Tapas. YUM. Both Firefly locations are conveniently located, yet off the crowded Las Vegas strip. They are energetic and fun with a modern aesthetic—perfect for a casual night out with #AVTweeps or a more professional dinner with clients. But the best part is the menu, which offeris unique, diverse, and freshly prepared small plates options. You don’t have to commit to a single entrée; sharing is caring, after all.

Why InfoComm 2022 Attendees Should Check It Out: I know pizza and I know Sin City, Good Pie is as delicious as pizza gets in the desert. Former chef at famed Las Vegas pizzeria, Evil Pie, Vincent Rotolo opened his own shop and has been making waves and winning awards ever since. Order it “Grandma Style” and thank me later.

Why InfoComm 2022 Attendees Should Check It Out: In-N-Out is a true West Coast classic. Whether you need post-drinking sustenance or a final meal before hitting the road out of town, you can never go wrong with a Double-Double and Animal Fries. There are two convenient locations off Tropicana Ave., on the way to either Harry Reid International Airport or the 15-South back to L.A. Enjoy! Oh … and take a local with you for tips on ordering from the secret menu.

Lindo Michoacan

Submitted by: Tammy Fuqua, Channel Account Manager – West, ATEN Technology
Why InfoComm 2022 Attendees Should Check It Out: Being from SoCal, I have visited Vegas countless times. I like to find hidden gems off the strip. If you want some good Mexican food and margaritas without breaking the bank, you must try this place. I love ceviche and their Ceviche de Camaron is really good. For an entrée, either the carnitas or the carne asada. They have the best coconut margarita to wash it all down. Cheers!

Mabel’s BBQ

Submitted by: Bryan Meszaros, CEO and Founder, Open-Eye Global
Why InfoComm 2022 Attendees Should Check It Out: Cleveland knows BBQ! Slightly off the strip, nestled inside the Palms Casino, lies one of Vegas’ best BBQ spots. Those who have been to Cleveland know about Mabel’s (owned by the infamous Michael Symon), and this outpost delivers the same mouth-watering, finger-licking experience. Go for the brisket, stay for the ribs and grab a pint of good brew.
