VuWall will introduce its PAK KVM feature in version 3.5 of the TRx centralized management platform and the VuStream 350 IP KVM encoder in Booth 1829 at InfoComm 2023.

“A comprehensive and flexible visualization system in control room environments requires the seamless and dynamic collaboration between operator stations and the video wall,” said Paul Vander Plaetse, founder and CEO of VuWall. “Our new PAK KVM feature and VuStream 350 encoding appliance are designed to streamline these workflows and improve operator efficiency locally and remotely.”

At InfoComm 2023, VuWall will demonstrate the newest version of TRx, a platform that combines AVoIP distribution, advanced multi-video wall control, and KVM management. Attendees will see how its new PAK KVM feature allows operators to control remote IP sources using keyboard and mouse on their personal video wall, local displays, or the main video wall. With TRx, users can configure, manage, and distribute virtually any source type to any display with an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface. According to the company, TRx ensures interoperability in a multibrand AV-over-IP infrastructure and enables users to easily create customized control panels to run on any browser, tablet, or mobile device without any programming using its built-in control panel designer. The new TRx KVM capabilities are ideal for multi-room visualization, situational awareness, control rooms, and remote operator environments.

VuWall will also showcase its new VuStream 350 IP KVM encoder appliance, which securely delivers high-quality video up to 4K performance over standard Gigabit Ethernet at low bitrates and ultra-low latency. VuStream 350 transmits HDMI video and audio, as well as keyboard and mouse on an encrypted AES-256 signal. It is fully compatible with VuWall’s TRx centralized management software, ControlVu PoE touch panels, and PAK video wall processing nodes.

The company will also demonstrate the compact all-in-one VuStream 550 appliance on their SDVoE video wall. The VuStream 550 can be used as an SDVoE encoder or multiview decoder, for fiber or copper infrastructures. It is designed for distributing 4K60 video and audio over standard 10Gb IP network switches with no latency, providing an ultra-scalable, easy to deploy, highly reliable solution.

Finally, at InfoComm, VuWall will participate in a panel discussion: “AV over IP and Networked Video Walls: The Evolution of Control Rooms,” held on June 15 at 8:30 a.m. in room W414BCD. Representing VuWall is Nick Mathis, CTS-I, along with other thought leaders from Barco, Vistacom, Parker Group, and NETGEAR, to discuss how network-based video wall deployments have changed the landscape of control room visualization and improved situational awareness.

The panel will highlight solutions that are available today and how to select the right technology for these mission-critical spaces. The session will explain the difference between traditional AVoIP technologies and network-based video wall processing technologies, share the value of network-based video wall processing over traditional monolithic video wall processors, and offer best practices for bringing data streams and video into a control room video wall system.
