The XR Association (XRA) will host its second annual All-Member Meeting in advance of the Augmented World Expo (AWE) in Santa Clara, CA, on Tuesday, May 30. The All-Member Meeting is a great opportunity for member company representatives to meet in person, network, and work together on forward-facing issues in the industry.

This year, the XRA will welcome Steven Johnson—author and expert on the interdisciplinary, collaborative, open-minded approach to innovation—as the honorary guest speaker for XRA’s annual All-Member Meeting. Johnson is known to unite a deep understanding of scientific progress with a sharp sensitivity to contemporary online trends. Members will hear from someone the Wall Street Journal has called “one of the most persuasive advocates for the role of collaboration in innovation.”

Johnson’s books, podcasts, and television series have explored the stories of some of the most crucial breakthroughs in the history of health, medicine, and technology. He is the bestselling author of 13 books, including Where Good Ideas Come From. He also hosted and co-created the Emmy Award-winning PBS/BBC series How We Got To Now and is the current host of the podcast American Innovations. In addition, Johnson writes regularly for the New York Times Magazine and WIRED.
