SAVe Appoints of Raymond Kent to Board Of Directors

Sustainability in AV (SAVe) has appointed Raymond Kent, principal of DLR Group, to its board of directors.

Kent joins SAVe with over 38 years in the AV industry, with 20 years focused specifically on technology and sustainability. Kent has written extensively for national and international publications on sustainability and technology, taught at colleges and universities, created training modules for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and was involved in the creation and administration of the Sustainable Technologies Environment Program (STEP). He is the recipient of the 2012 Sustainable Technologies Award from AVIXA.

“I look forward to bringing my passion to continuing my long history within the intersection of sustainability and technology across the ICT industries through my contributions to SAVe and the community of technology manufacturers, consultants, end users, and integrators,” said Kent.

“Ray’s experience in both sustainability and the AV industry brings invaluable knowledge to the mission of SAVe,” added SAVe founder and CEO, Christina DeBono. “From his work with the initial Green AV Network and continued involvement in the STEP program, to serving as adjunct faculty for both AVIXA and Cuyahoga’s Community College’s Center for Creative Arts, we’re thrilled to have him on join the SAVe team.”
