PK Sound shared its T8 Robotic Line Source Element at InfoComm 2024.

The T8 compact robotic line source system offers remote, real-time control of vertical and horizontal directivity via PK’ patented Multi-Axis Robotics and .dynamics control software. This includes 0.1° of precision for vertical inter-cabinet angles and variable horizontal directivity from 120-60° in 49 symmetric or asymmetric configurations, allowing for the creation of tapered arrays with acoustic coverage sculpted to the contours of any given venue or space.

T8’s output—with peak SPLs reaching 143.5 dB—is precisely controlled down to 400 Hz in both the vertical and horizontal planes. Integrated inclinometers and network-based Auto-Array via PK .dynamics software enable each module to recognize its position and angle within the system, enhancing the speed, safety, and accuracy of any deployment.

Robotic control, onboard DSP, and AVB end points are routed through the world’s first implementation of Neutrik’s DR Series of IP65-rated connectors for maximum stability.
