DeCoded: Inclusive Global AI Ethics and Safety People’s Summit
On this episode of LAVNCH [CODE] DeCoded, Richard Foster-Fletcher of Morality and Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence discusses the upcoming Inclusive Global AI Ethics and Safety People’s Summit.
On Wednesday, Nov. 1, in parallel with—and literally next door to the UK Government’s AI Safety Summit in Bletchley—MKAI is hosting its own inclusive Global AI Ethics and Safety People’s Summit. The summit is open to all (in-person or online), free if required, and will receive and engage in real-time conversations. Everyone will have a voice and event organizers say “we will go where the conversation needs to go.” The summit goes beyond being a mere gathering; it represents a pivotal intervention in our evolving digital landscape.
Participation in this summit is more than an educational opportunity—it is an urgent call to shape the ethical trajectory of AI on a global scale. The MKAI summit transcends theoretical discourse, focusing instead on pressing, real-world challenges that demand immediate attention. The summit is an antidote to the status quo, a chance to challenge prevailing norms and to be part of a collective effort to steer AI in a direction that is ethical, safe, and beneficial for all.
