AWE 2024 Marks Sony’s U.S. Debut of Spatial Content Creation System

Sony Electronics will publicly showcase its Spatial Content Creation System in the U.S. market at AWE 2024 in Long Beach, CA. This comes following its announcement at the CES 2024, which the company says marks a “significant milestone in Sony’s innovation journey.”

Attendees of AWE 2024 will have the exclusive opportunity to experience Sony’s state-of-the-art extended reality (XR) head-mounted display equipped with high-quality 4K OLED Microdisplays and a pair of controllers optimized for interaction with 3D objects. This advanced system offers visual clarity, performance, and intuitive manipulation of virtual objects, which Sony belives will set a new standard for immersive spatial content creation. The live demonstration at AWE 2024 will allow industry professionals and creators to witness firsthand the impressive capabilities of this cutting-edge technology.

While pushing through innovations in the industrial design segment through partnership with Siemens, which was announced at CES 2024, Sony is thrilled to publicly showcase the technology to creators and developers in a diverse range of industries, including entertainment. Sony says it “aims to drive forward new applications and enhance user experiences across multiple sectors, by leveraging the innovative potential of Spatial Content Creation System technology.”
