Almo Pro A/V Rebrands as Exertis Almo

Almo Professional A/V has rebranded to Exertis Almo, following Exertis’ acquisition of Almo Corporation last December. The union harnesses the combined sales, service, marketing, and subject matter expertise of Almo Pro A/V and Exertis Pro AV to become the largest and most specialized value-added North American ProAV distributor, according to the company.

Exertis Almo Logo Exertis Almo will be led by Sam Taylor, executive vice president and COO, who brings 35 years of ProAV leadership to the newly unified division. The company includes more than 300 employees, 12 distribution facilities, and 2.7 million square feet of warehousing space.

“There has never been a more exciting time to partner with us than right now,” said Taylor. “Almo Pro A/V and Exertis Pro AV have combined best practices and now offer the most expansive range of products, managed services, technical support, and training to help resellers and integrators drive business growth and generate profits.”

The Exertis Almo leadership team is comprised of Sam Taylor, EVP and COO; John Riley, sr. VP of sales, East; Kevin Welling, sr. VP of sales, West; Chris Lubick, sr. VP of sales, special markets; Bill Woodard, VP of product management; Rob Ziv, VP of business development and strategy; Melody Craigmyle, VP of marketing and communications, Almo Corp.; and Ashley Flaska, VP of marketing.

In addition, the company is hosting its first fully unified event—E4 Experience Chicago—on May 3. The joint partner participation requires the largest exhibit hall space since the E4 program was launched in 2009.

“We look forward to welcoming our partners to the first official Exertis Almo event, the E4 Experience, in Chicago on May 3,” Taylor added. “This provides the opportunity to introduce our combined staff of experts and share some of the latest trends and technology in our largest exhibit hall space yet for E4.”

The rebranding process is scheduled to continue through the beginning of May.
