After a record number of nominations, the finalists for the 2024 Auggie Awards have been announced. The Auggie Awards, now in their 15th year, showcase the best of the best in augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and virtual reality (VR).

“Congratulations to all the finalists, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who submitted nominations this year and to those who voted for their favorite entries,” said AWE, the organization behind the awards, in a statement. “The amazing thing about the Auggie Awards is that the competition is open to anyone, from the largest players in the spatial computing world, to individual augmented and virtual reality developers and creators. The Auggies provide everyone with a platform to earn some much deserved attention and recognition for their hard work across the XR space over the past year.”

As well as being crowned winner of their respective category, winners will also receive their very own Auggie Award trophy—a highly-coveted, one-of-a-kind piece of art created by artist Sigal Arad Inbar.
