SNA Displays Wins Two Awards at DSE 2023

SNA Displays and its partners took home two Digital Signage Experience awards at the 2023 DSE Show in Las Vegas last week. Judges for the DSE awards, known as the DIZZIEs, selected projects featuring LED display technology by the company in the categories of Corporate Environments and Digital Out of Home (DOOH).
BEST CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT

SNA HPE Spectacular
The vast digital display network at Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s global headquarters in Spring, TX, bested four other category finalists in Corporate Environments. The digital signage makeover was integrated and overseen by i.e.Smart Systems and included multiple dvLED installations throughout the campus as well as a 90-foot-wide LED spectacular overlooking an outdoor courtyard.
“Everything at the HPE campus is meant to be an experience, and the display network significantly enhances that vibe,” said Nick Colvin, chief executive officer at i.e.Smart Systems. “The design reflects HPE’s brand equity and provides an experience visitors would expect from a technological giant. We’re very proud of the award-winning work and greatly appreciate the collaboration with HPE and all of our partners on the project.”
BEST DIGITAL OUT OF HOME

SNA DSE 2023 Submission: The Moxy
In the Digital Out of Home (DOOH) category, the LED mega-spectacular at The Moxy in downtown Los Angeles was chosen as the winner over very stiff competition. The massive 8 mm EMPIRE Exterior display is 50 feet tall and as long as a football field, wrapping around the high-traffic intersection at W Pico Blvd and S Figueroa St in the heart of DTLA.
“We are pleased that The Moxy digital spectacular was selected best in show for the Digital Out of Home category,” said Denise Levine, Chief Revenue Officer of Branded Cities. “The Moxy digital spectacular is truly a diamond in our collection and its overall sentiment among brands and agencies remains at an all-time high.”
Consumer Experience Group (CEG), a Los Angeles-based consultancy for experiential display projects, managed the digital and static signage elements on behalf of property owner Lightstone. Premier out-of-home media company Branded Cities owns exclusive rights to market and sell premium advertising on the curved video screen, which regularly features attention-catching 3D anamorphic content from some of the world’s largest brands.
“Working on the initial design with ownership, entitlements with the city of LA, and implementation with SNA Displays of this massive digital canvas,” said Jeremy Kolieb of Consumer Experience Group, “it’s wonderful to see Branded Cities bring this display to life with beautiful content day in and day out from top-tier brands. Since its launch last year, The Moxy has become one of the most iconic digital out-of-home platforms in the country, and it’s an honor to manage it on behalf of ownership, who couldn’t be happier with the recognition.”
The Moxy was also awarded the top prize for DOOH at the 2023 Digital Signage Awards earlier this year. For more information on the digital spectacular, visit The Moxy case study page.
Judges for the 2023 DIZZIE awards included more than two dozen industry experts across various digital signage services. Three other sites featuring technology by SNA Displays were chosen as Digital Signage Experience award finalists.
