Nanolumens Selected to Present Featured Panel at SEGD’s Xlab
Nanolumens will participate in The Society for Experiential Graphic Design’s 2024 Xlab as a featured presenter. The event—which takes place November 7 in New York City—is a gathering of professionals dedicated to the intersection of experiential design and technology-driven storytelling.
The panel—titled “Anatomy of a Compelling Digital Experience in the Built Environment”—will focus on how digital canvases can transform spaces and create engaging, memorable interactions beyond the traditional use of video walls. The panel will be led by Dana Michaelis, director of corporate development at Nanolumens, will feature industry experts like Kristen DiCamillo, managing partner at HUSH; Zoe Franklin, creative director at Meta; and Mark Coxon, CTS-D, CTS-I, director of business development at AVI-SPL.
“Our goal is to help designers and architects understand how to merge technology with storytelling, art, and architecture to deliver digital experiences that resonate,” said Michaelis. “It’s not just about installing a large digital display; it’s about creating a cohesive narrative that captivates and inspires those who engage with the space. We look forward to sharing our expertise and contributing to the broader conversation surrounding digital storytelling.”
Attendees will learn how to use digital displays to complement a space’s aesthetic and deliver an impactful visual that aligns with brand storytelling; the panel will offer actionable insights for architects, designers, and digital content creators alike.
